City Hall Park
City Hall Park is located near the city hall of New York City. It is not a very big park, but it is enough to contain a lot of beauty and for people to rest in there. I have discovered a lot of tings there, such as the location, the landscape, and the people.
Frist, the City Hall Park is located in lower Manhattan, where tall buildings are all around, and people are seem very busy on the street. However, City Hall Park is very different from the circumstance around it. The park is very green; people can see grass fields and trees all over the park, I smell the grass and the dirt, which we can often smell in the nature, this gives people a very comfortable feeling. When I walking in the city hall park, I don't feel like I am in Manhattan.
Also, there are some small animals that live in the city hall park, such as squirrels and pigeons, and they don't afraid of people. We can usually see those animals on the street in Washington DC, but not in New York City. However, we can see them here, which mean this place is really have the natural feelings.
People in here are also very different from people on the street. I saw a lot of elders are resting on the bench, or taking a walk in the park. Also there are a lot of young people eating lunch and reading newspaper. The City Hall Park is a great place for those young people to have a rest after long time of working. People are enjoying their afternoon sunshine here.
