1. What does the scripture (Jeremiah 29:11-13) mean to you? Share some comments on why (or why not) the scripture is challenging.
This scripture means to me that if I truly seek God’s plan for my life that he will guide me to my purpose. This scripture states “you will call on me and come pray to me, and I will listen” I think this represent that God will listen if you ask. Our purpose is already set for us. God has our plans for us, “plans to give you hope and a future”. This is so clear, I am pretty sure my eight year old daughter could find a meaning from this scripture. I actually enjoyed it so much I shared it with her. This scripture could be challenging to some if they were not looking with all their heart then they would not receive an answer and could consider this as being ignored. When in fact they are not being ignored, they just need to be true to themselves and their true intentions. 2. In your assigned reading of Dr. Tennent's book, share two insights you gleaned from the text. Pages 141-198
