System is a set of functions or activities within an organization that work together to achieve organizational goals. A system must have an aim, a purpose to which it continually strives. That is the define in the book. In class, we use the McDonald’s restaurant to view as a system. The same reason, in Midland, have a Chinese restaurant, it is the NEW BUFFET KING, It consists of the cashier subsystem, steward subsystem, and grill and food preparation subsystem, Tableware cleaning system and so on. On their, all subsystem together to serve the customer, for example, when the customer was coming, the cashier will ask about customer need eat at restaurant or to go, if they need for here，the waiter will meet the customer and do some service，that is the interactions with the cashier subsystem and steward subsystem, when the customer need to go, the cashier will help them to make an order and talk the chef cook this food, that is the interactions with the cashier subsystem and grill and food preparation subsystem. In the restaurant have a store manager, if customer have some complaint he can do some dispose, that is the optimization about this system.
