The author has described that childhood obesity has reached to the higher level in the popular countries. All the authors have aggregated on the opinion that the epidemic obesity controlling strategy must be implemented in order to reduce the higher level of obesity in the children. The nutrition transition in popular countries is related with a major change from the consuming of staple crops and whole grains to mostly processed foods. Based on the article the author, used generalized methods of moments (GMM) regression to test the promotion of processed foods consumption to the spread of overweight in Guatemala. Based on the data, it showed the relationship between the partially and highly processed foods. For the partially processed foods there is at least a 3.95% of increase rate on BMl within the family members between aged 10 and above. On the other hand, the highly processed food showed at least a 4.25% of increase rate on BMl of individuals; there fore, showed the effect of highly processed foods is strongest than the other. Overall, the author has described the issues of having high prevalence of overweight/obesity within Guatemala are partially and highly processed foods that consuming in household.
