Considered to be one of the “seven wonders of Chicago” standing at 1,451 ft. high, Willis Tower, formerly named Sears tower was the tallest building in the world at the time of completion in 1973. It now holds record place as tallest building in the Western Hemisphere! Enjoy a nice visit with a panoramic view at 1,353 ft. And if daring enough you can take a step out on their glass balcony that extends four feet out from the buildings edge! You can also get your head in the clouds with your kids as they have spectacular views in their “knee high Chicago”. Art Institute of Chicago

They have new exhibitions every few months and multiple events to attend throughout the day! Family visits? Kids under 14 get in for free! The Art Institute of Chicago is a wonderful place to learn targeting every age group; there is something there to satiate everyone’s hunger for learning.

Adler Planetarium

Well, at Adler planetarium you will enjoy having your head “stuck in the clouds” with daily programs, exhibitions and special lectures this is the place to go. They have things to do whether you have just an hour or all day. Adler was founded in 1930 by a Chicago business lead, Max Adler and America’s first planetarium. Adler planetarium is located on Northerly Island in Chicago and is a part of Chicago’s museum campus which also includes the John G. Shedd Aquarium and also The Field museum. The buildings are about a 15 minute walk from each other so it’s conveniently located to visit all of them.
Shedd Aquarium
Located on the shores of lake Michigan in Chicago’s museum campus you will be able to see what the sea is really like at the Shedd aquarium! Having more than 32,500 animals from 1,500 species, it shouldn’t be difficult to be fascinated. They have dolphins, fish, piranha, eel, sea turtles, otters, sea jellies and much, much more! Come in and amaze the kids with wonder with the floor to ceiling exhibit. Shedd aquarium is truly a wonderful place to visit for people of any age!

The Field Museum
The Field museum, located in Chicago’s museum campus, is home of the world’s most complete Tyrannosaurs rex fossil! The museum holds 25 million objects in six permanent collections which include the following:
