The cement production line or cement plant is a series of cement making machines for manufacturing cement . It is mainly composed of such processes as breaking and prehomogenization , preparation of raw material , preparation of raw material , preheating decomposition , the firing of cement clinker and cement grinding packaging . Six Procedures of Cement Manufacturing
1.Crushing and preblending
In the recent cement production line , most of the materials need to be broken , such as limestone , clay , iron ore and coal , etc. Limestone is the largest amount of raw materials in the cement production line . After being mined , the size of limestone is large with high hardness , so the limestone crushing plays a more important role in the cement production line .
2.Raw Material Preparation
In the cement production line , producing each one ton of portland cement needs to grind at least 3 tons of materials ( including raw materials , fuel , clinker , mixed materials , bypsum ). Grinding operation consumes power , which occupies about 60% of total power during the cement production line , and raw material grinding takes more than 30% , where coal mill used in cement plant consumes 3% , cement ginding about 40% . So choosing the right grinding mills in cement plants is very important .
3.Raw Material Homogenization
Adopting the technology of homogenization could rationally get the best homo-effect and afford an eligible production to the demand .
4. Preheating and Precalding
Preheater and calciner are the key equipments for precalcing production technique .
5.Burning cement clinker in a rotary kiln
The calcination of rotary kiln is a key cement production , and it makes directly influence on the quality of cement clinker .
