Catfish not just Dinner I can’t help but smile. “I love you” he says, “We should meet soon.” “I love you too, and soon darling, don’t worry we’ll meet soon.” I reply and shut off my computer. I lay in my bed wondering, when will be the end? When will I no longer be able to keep up this charade? I’m not who he thinks I am there is no way we can ever meet. I’ll tell him soon just not yet. I don’t feel like I’m lying though, it’s not as if I’m making up a whole other life like some people do on the internet. I just don’t think I’m pretty enough to be his type and I really like him. Many feel sickened by the idea and even start to suggest the person doing these things is mentally ill or shouldn’t be allowed to participate in regular society, or at least online since being ousted. Although some may have mental illnesses, most are people looking for attention they are not getting elsewhere. Attentions they don’t believe they can get do to their physical appearance. When getting into the topics of revenge and stalking is when you start breaking some pretty serious laws.
