1.1 Most Recent 5 Years Sales Performance The bar chart illustrates the most recent 5 years sales performance by POSCO (Pohang Iron and Steel Company) from 2010 to 2014. From the bar chart shown above, we can clearly conclude that their sales performance can be recognized as fluctuation. Starting from the year of 2010 their total sales are approximately at KRW 62380 million but slightly drop to KRW 61420 million in the next year, decrease about 1.54% from the total sales of the year 2010. Luckily in the following year of 2012 their total sales seem to be increase to KRW 70413 million, fully increase 14.64% compare to the year 2011. The sales performance of POSCO steadily continues to increase in the year of 2013 to KRW 80282 million, stable…show more content… The product that we had chosen is stainless steel austenite 304/304L/304LN. Austenite stainless steels would be the most common and familiar types of stainless steel. They are recognized as non-magnetic the most easily. They are extremely formable weld able, and they can be used from cryogenic temperatures to the red-hot temperatures of furnaces and jet engines successfully. Austenite stainless steels contain about 16% to 25% chromium and they also contain nitrogen in solution that both of this contribute to their high corrosion resistance function. These alloys would be used even more widely were it not for the cost other nickel that helps stabilize their austenite…show more content… ( “Stainless Steel” ) Stainless steels could be divided into four different products that are austenite, dual-phase, ferrite and martensite that also presented in hot rolled coil, cold rolled coil or plate respectively.
