Be Aware In certain media, posters, magazines, and fliers, the presentation of advertisements has always had an influence on society to buy a certain product. Not only does the consumer market gain profit but it receives popularity as well. Although, advertisements sometimes tend to have a positive influence they can have a negative influence as well and can cause divisiveness among people or consumers. Many ads tend to use vibrant colors, fancy fonts or fancy wording .One of the ads that uses these tactics for advertisement is the Hippocrates ad which appeared on the July 2008 issue of Forbes Magazine. The advertisement in the 2008 Forbes magazine shows a grey picture of a young man old fashion dressed trying to juggle four balls. With the black and white color effect the point that IBM was trying to make was why live in the past when you can live in the future. The IBM informs very concisely in their short written paragraphs that “Do more with less” in terms of having a consumer buy the IBM Data Network which is also underlined. With the IBM data network underlined to capture attention, IBM gives a brilliant reason as to why one should buy the Health Data Network.
