“Perspective gives us the ability to accurately contrast the large with the small, and the important with the less important. Without it we are lost in a world where all ideas, news, and information look the same. We cannot differentiate, we cannot prioritize, and we cannot make good choices.” different perspective effect different point of view of someone. Guy Montag, the main characters in Fahrenheit 451 that lived in the city which books are banned. Montag worked as a fireman at this city, and his job was to burn books. He did very well in his jobs, and he always did what his captain said.
Montag’s live went smoothly until Clarisse, seventeen years old girl came to his live. She was different from the other people, and she did things that were considered odd in that era. Clarisse’s curiosity made Montag realize that he was unhappy with his live, and she also opened Montag’s mind to the truth that books was important. As a fireman, Montag had a job to come to someone’s house to burn they books. There was one day when Montag come to old woman’s house and after he sprayed the kerosene to those books, without thinking he hid that book beneath his coat. Montag dared to did it because of his curiosity about what was inside the book. Montag’s transition from the fireman that agreed with the captain that book was useless into a rebel man that thought book was very important because of Clarisse’s curiosity, Montag’s realization of his unhappiness, and Montag’s experience with the old women.
Montag’s perspective changed because of a girl named Clarisse. She just moved to the house near Montag’s house. Everyday they talked outside their house about random things. There was one day they had a conversation and she stated, “The psychiatrist wants to know why I go out and hike around in the forest and watch the birds and collect butterflies. I’ll show you my collection someday (23).” His stated show how different she act compare to the people in that era. People usually just stay at home, watch TV or too busy with their job, and they did not have time to enjoy nature and taking care the environment. But Clarisse went outside to see random things that were taboo and weird. People in that era also did not curious about anything, and they just accept anything without thinking whether was that good or bad. The society also made the people did things in the same way, and there was no creativity in this era. Contrasting to Clarisse, she was curious and different. Clarisse’s curiousness was one of the factors Montag’s transformations.
Montag had a wife named Mildred. They have been marrying for more than five years, but they did not have any children. Montag never realize that the truth was he did not happy with his live, his job, and his wife. Montag’s realization of his unhappiness was based on Clarisse’s question. She asked Montag, “Are you happy? (10)” And than he started to realize he was unhappy. He also realized that all other firemen looked exactly the same. With their uniforms, grafted-on, sooty smiles, and physiques. This was the manifestation of the fact that the people in this society demanded that everyone think and act the same. With his wife, he felt like they did not really a couple, and they did not love each other. This was shown when Clarisse rub the dandelion at Montag’s chin, and the dandelion did not spread out, it means that Montag was not in love with anyone. When Montag ran away from that city, he met a group of an intellectual people that also ran away. He had a conversation with one of them; he said, “It’s strange, I don’t miss her, it’s strange I don’t fell much of anything, (e)ven if she dies, I realized a moment ago, I don’t think I’ll feel sad. It isn't right. Something must be wrong with me (155).” Montag’s stated clearly showed that he did not felt anything to his wife. Montag’s realization of his unhappiness was one of the factors he transforms into different person.

Gas giants, to planets with atmospheres and then to our own planet that houses billions of humans. But, there seems to be one planet that, in my opinion, is the most interesting and this would be Earth’s own neighbor. It has the ability to our second home, a planet that long ago could have been just like Earth with running water and blue skies. This planet is Mars, not yet visited personally visited by humans but has been under the eye of my rovers that roam the planet; giving scientists all the information…
I watched a video about the biotechnology and bioengineering to help enhance and increase ones rate of living longer or surviving. The Video, called Can We Live Forever, started off with an introduction how the car from the Guinness Book of World Records has been able to sustain a very long lifetime. Irvin Gorman, the owner of the car, has had it for approximately four decades, and the car has been running for more than 2.7 million miles. Every living thing is suppose to eventually break down and…
intelligent designer behind these works of nature. The first three premises state that human artifacts have purpose, or intelligent design, and that nature resembles these artifacts by having organization and function, only significantly more intricate than human artifacts. It is supported even within science by looking at how delicate life is, and that even if something as small as the size of neurons and protons were not the exact proportion as they are, life would be impossible. Some argue this thesis…
experienced in past years when there were far fewer people? Let us look back in the world's history: for example, between roughly 900AD and 1350AD the temperatures were much higher than now. And, back then there were fewer people, no cars, no electric utilities, and no factories, etc. So what caused the earth's heat? Could it be a natural occurrence? The temperature graph at the bottom of this article shows the temperatures of the earth before Christ to 2040. In the book THE DISCOVERERS published in…
fossil fuels but we will also be saving our money. Again from our power point it states, “Active Solar Heating uses equipment to absorb solar energy and to distribute the collected heat. It is also used to heat water for household uses.” Our daily uses like heating our water for showers will be easier if we had active solar heating because we would save so much money just by using this solar heating. On the World Wildlife Fund’s (WWF) website they claim, “In Jordan, renewable energy resources, particularly…

Engineering is also used in this process for clones that are destine for tropical climates, so that they are capable of surviving. Also, he explains that they are taught, by putting the older clones to sleep and have someone whisper a lesson…
is the air polluted so badly? How did it get that way? The city of Los Angeles, like many other places in the world today are to a great degree responsible for producing much of the "bad air" in their cities. However, "bad air" is now being found in cities and other places where there is no air polluting factories or industry to blame. This is because air pollution does not recognize international boundaries, and like the proverbial trapeze artists, pollution in the form…
