There is an overwhelming evidence that the higher the level of self-esteem, the more likely the person will be to treat others with respect, kindness, and generosity. These character traits can be closely and example of a daily service. Kindness, respect, and generosity are some positive traits coordinated together to form one special piece of work which is service. Service is usually the action of helping or doing work for someone. If we take a look closely in each of the terms of the character traits terms, definitely we can absorb the same kind of definition when implying them in action in every day’s life. Everyone mostly does a service at least once a day, most people don’t think of it as being kind or implying any of these positive character traits. The reason behind it is every service you do, no matter what, how, or who do you imply it on, it can be definitely a character trait of respect and kindness. Some people might disagree with the idea that these kinds of traits have no connection to service, and that sometimes you can do a service, but it doesn’t always have to be with the action of implying the positive character traits. I totally disagree with the people that think this way, or have this kind of conclusion. The main reason is when looking at it from a different perspective and looking back to the definition of service which is the action of helping or doing work for someone. This definition explains it all , because when doing something

Not To Be Is the month of February long enough to celebrate African American history or should it be celebrated throughout the year? Black history was first celebrated in the U.S. on February 12, 1926. It was originally known as “Negro History Week” and then later became known as “Black History Month”. I believe Black History month should continue to be celebrated only on the month of February. There are three reasons for my position black history month is celebrated in the month of February to pay…
not learned anything about black history month until this year. I have, however, learned about black history, and I have great respect for it. 2. I believe that nothing would change in regards to the respect for black people. However, I believe that black history month represents the hard work of many great souls and should be preserved. Since it had developed a tradition already, there is no way to exclude it, anyways. 3. No, the function of these special months is to learn from and honor…

where you might not know where you are headed, can be very difficult. Black people as a race are the minority. They have to crawl and go through so much until they have found their way, or unless somebody felt sorry for them and gave them a free pass, but that hardly never happens. When you talk about race, people seem to act as if racism doesn’t exist, even when it was just almost yesterday. Who came up with “only black people as a whole are only good for sports and that Mexicans are only good…
throughout U.S. history. Though they still face discrimination today, they have made many significant contributions to every aspect of the American society. Within this chapter, we will discuss some of the many hardships they were forced to endure at the White man’s hand. African Americans were brought to America from Africa for the sole purpose of slavery. It was not a new concept to Europe or Africa, but the forced migration of African Americans was new to the American history (http://www.crf-usa…

This topic is not without its pros and cons, depending on the individual some may say the pros outweigh the cons and vice versa. These pros and cons are a direct result of the cultural diversity that inhabits our country today. I have learned much throughout this course; some of the things I learned were both new…
No Rights For Blacks By: Paul Quintero African American history plays an important role in American history not only because the Civil Rights Movement, but because of the strength and courage of African Americans struggling to live a good life in America. as black people wanting the right to vote and being equal with you white folks. I really want us to be able to meet in person, but at the moment I don’t think that will be possible for a while, considering that colored people and white people are not supposed to mingle together. I am not sure if you know anything about our past and experiences as black people, but I would like to share some of the history about us and what we have been through up until now. As you might know that us black people…
