The Tampa Bay Black Chamber of Commerce is so dutifully preparing for its 3rd ANNUAL "Gospel BATTLE of the CITIES 2014" , and would like to extend a warm invitation for members of your congregation to partake in this very glorious occasion.

This is a contest open to amateur choirs, quartets, trios, duos and soloists of all ages throughout the state of Florida, who have never been paid to perform and who want to GET their Praise On through the demonstration of acts no longer than 3 minutes in length, using original lyrics and music only(or will be disqualified).

Trials will be held 8/2-8/3, 8/9-8/10, 8/16-8/17 and 8/23- 8/24. Finals will be held on the 5th Saturday of the month. The time will be 6-9 p.m. and the place for the contest will be announced at a later date.

Three judges will determine trial selections from each round, that will be based on 5 categories, vocals, originality, choreography, stage awareness and appearance, eventually leading to rewarding of the following prizes.

*1st place winner will receive a recording contract, radio airplay, trophy, newspaper write up and television interview on the Black Chamber of Commerce station.

*2nd/3rd place runner up trophies/Certificates for all participants

Door prizes will be awarded!!!
