In the completion of this project, I want to increase my 3 point shooting average from 15% to 30%. I chose this project because growing up I always dreamt of getting the opportunity to join the varsity basketball team in high school. And then maybe play college basketball and make it to the NBA®. But before I get ahead of myself, I need to train harder. The topic I was leaning towards was the sports idea category and basketball fit perfect for my final product. The sources I will use to achieve my goal include websites such as NBA.com and iHoops.com. They tell all about how professionals such as LeBron James and Dwight Howard take their shots. I will also use books like The Book of Basketball by Bill Simmons. Also I will watch videos on YouTube on how to position myself for 3 point shooting. The materials I will need for this project are a basketball, a basketball court, a camera, a computer, a flash drive, and crafts for creating a board. I will insert all of my data into a graph showing my progression. My plan for my final product to be ready is to first do a trial without any help or training. I then record result into my graph. Then I will perform trials with more training and tips, and graph the results. This process will continue for 10 more trials and I will hopefully get the results I want. In the completion of my project, I want to learn the lesson of how hard work can really pay off. Hard work meaning that I put everything
