Submission by: Giuseppe Minielli
Submitted to: Dr. Arthur Younger
Date: Feb 8, 2014

Introduction:
This analytical report outlines the government spending activity on a provincial level, coming from “The Government of Ontario”. The government funded organization under analysis is the Royal Ontario Museum. The purpose of this analysis is to identify the amount of funding coming into the organization from the government of Ontario along with other sources and to determine whether the organization would be able to function without government funding. The data sources for this assignment have been extracted from the annual reports of “Public Accounts of Ontario” and “The Royal Ontario Museum Reports” respectively. The data from annual reports are dated for a fifteen year period, beginning with 1999 and ending with 2013. All charts have a numbered timeline of “1-15”, the first signifies the first year of data, which in this case is “1999” and the final number on the sequence represents “2013”.

Based on this graph one can comprehend that the funding from the government has increased after the 10th year (2008). There was a drop from year 10 to year 11, this could have been due to the American Recession. There has ever since been a steady increase of funding from after year 11.
