Decision Making Process
The purpose of this essay is to demonstrate how the Decision Making Process was utilized in one of the biggest decision that as a family we had to decide on. The steps are clearly viewed on the readings for this week. The steps are as follow, Identify the issue or problem, create or generate alternate solutions, evaluate the alternate solutions, making a choice, implement the decision and evaluate that decision once is chosen. The issue was the possibilities of home ownership, and as we all know this can be very stressful and by using this technique or process we were able to identify the right choice or decision at the end.
Overcoming the Issue
Once we were ready to purchase a home we had to identify the issue of the how, when and where. We realize that we had to look at all factors involved in this decision that at the end is more of an investment and how we would we be come to the right decision.
Once we knew what the issue was, we also generated various choices of areas and styles of homes we wanted to buy. We ended with about four areas and six builders that had caught our attention. We sat down and look at all of choices and analyzed what were the options that each builder had to offer and amenities that were offered in each home.
Only after we were sure that everything that we wanted in choices for our home we decided and chose the best alternative for us. Once decided we went ahead with our plan of action and contacted all of the
