Redistribution of Wealth in America Fair? Capitalism in America, a free enterprise system has made the U.S. one of the the richest, most powerful countries in the world, in only a few hundred years. Everyone has a fair opportunity in reaching the top one percent of wealth here in America because capitalism is equal equality, equal chance, and equal opportunity. It depends on how hard you are willing to work. However, Obama does not like the way the country was founded. He feels that the unfairness is capitalism. The unfairness is that there are rich people and poor people, and that’s not right. Obama thinks the solution to all this is redistribution of wealth. The government's ideology to over tax the wealthy is only causing more problems. People will rely to much on the government to provide them with a so called free lunch, they will forget the meaning of hard work.
The biggest redistribution of wealth right now is Obamacare. Obama promised that one could keep his/her own doctor and your own health insurance, if one liked it and your cost would go down $2,500. However hundreds of thousands of people are being dropped by their health insurance due to Obamacare law. When people are applying for obamacare there payments have doubled and there deductibles have skyrocketed from $500 to $7,000 per year. This is a result of redistribution where the people who had health insurance are going to have to pay for the people who don’t have health insurance at all. Obamacare is law of the land and if one doesn’t buy health insurance one will pay the penalty or a tax. It was just announced that one has until March 31st to buy health insurance due to the glitches on Obama’s website. If redistribution is so great then why is Greece, Italy, and Spain bankrupted with a higher unemployment rate than the U.S. The redistribution of wealth occurring in this country now will reduce it to a second rate or third world country.
The over taxation of the wealthy people to support all the other poor people will not work. Redistribution of wealth will only last until they run out of other peoples money. Entrepreneurs will take their business elsewhere leaving less jobs and careers available for the American people. Today a poor person in America who doesn’t have a job will still have a refrigerator, food stamps, free obama phone, flat screen T.V., central air, personal computer, and free healthcare come January 1st 2014, plus other government programs that they can qualify for. How hard are you willing to work, versus how much of a sponge do you want to be feeding off everyone else? That is what redistribution is all about. The average poor person in America suddenly doesn’t seem to be so poor compared to other people in other countries. But maybe the most valuable thing a poor
