Distance education or traditional education which has the better argument? Well let’s look at both sides distance education is a wonderful way to go for the person who wants to go back to school who is also employed with a full time job. This person may also have to care for a family as well. Distance education is good for the person who just wants to learn a trade or take a few classes to help with their career, to perhaps try and get a promotion. It is also easier because you can just take your time and you don’t have a set time limit. This also is well for the child who may also want to live at home and not go away to college and save their money.
Traditional education is the way to go for high school graduate who is ready to experience life away from home and learn new things and be independent in college life and also make new friends. Learning traditionally has its advantages to being right there with the teacher if you have direct questions or don’t understand something, but sometimes can be pressuring and distracting to be in a classroom with other students while test taking or trying to learn while others may be talking or making noise. Some students do well under pressure while others do not. With traditional education you will also have to travel to and from the school being there on time to class and this takes gas and money and other resources and time.
