According to a study published in the journal Science, showed that families with two homosexual brothers were very likely to have certain genetic markers on a region of the X chromosome know as X928. This led to media headlines about the possibility of the existence of a “gay gene” and discussions about the ethic of aborting a “gay fetus”. My opinion is that children are not born gay. A child can become gay in three different ways, his environment, his upbringing or his cultural beliefs.
Children learn their life skills by observing or by being taught by the people in their environment. If the male child is surrounded by women who are always primping and grooming and have no interaction with other males, then the male child will more than likely pick the feminine traits instead of male traits. He will follow the example of the adult directly in his life. It is the parents’ responsibility to correct and guide the child when she sees him doing something ladylike. Giving a male child a baby doll to play with does not teach him how to treat a lady; it teaches him how to be a lady. We are our children’s first teachers. They learn from us first.
A child’s upbringing can cause them to become gay. A child may see his mother being romantically involved with another lady and get the impression that like goes with like, hence causing him to think that since his mother is with another woman; it is alright for him to be with another

Discrimination or Not? "He is gay", the lady whispered to her friends when she saw a man walked into the coffee shop. All eyes started at him- a handsome guy with a nice body and friendly smile. Everyone started to whisper to each other while their eyes still looked at him. Sometime, I could see an ironic smile appear on their faces. At that time, the other guys that were on another table tried to make fun of him. The man who was called gay quickly ordered his drink and walked out the shop without…
Pro & Con Arguments: "Should gay marriage be legal?" PRO Gay Marriage 1.It is no one else's business if two men or two women want to get married. Two people of the same sex who love each other should be allowed to publicly celebrate their commitment (357 KB) and receive the same benefits of marriage as opposite sex couples. [40] 2.There is no such thing as traditional marriage. Given the prevalence of modern and ancient examples of family arrangements based on polygamy, communal child-rearing…
that is continuously being argued, whether it is morally correct or not. After watching the video “Survival of the Fabulous”, it is in my opinion that being gay is a decision made by one’s own self. It is with popular belief that being gay is something you are born with, but no DNA tests can be done to prove this theory. In my opinion, being gay is a choice made by one’s own self. A person will become attracted to males or females when they hit an age of puberty and hormones. I believe homosexuality…
Legalize Gay Marriage Yes or No? Same sex marriage (also known as gay marriage) is marriage between two people of the same sex or gender. January 1, 1973 Maryland was the first to ban same sex marriage which totally reached the USA by 1994. By May 17, 2004 there was one state to legalize gay marriage which was Massachusetts. Well as of now there are 9 states that have legalized gay marriage. I believe gay marriage should be legal because everyone should be treated equal and have certain rights…
states, government has banned gay-marriages. The government has no rights or power to decide whether which gender people can or cannot marry with. What’s the objective of banning gay-marriages? To preserve mankind because the government afraid that it’ll put an end to childbirth. If gay-marriage do occur, that doesn’t mean the entire world would become gay. The government perception of being gay is a disease that will contaminate other people to become gay. Despite that gay men cannot have babies but…
Genetic or Not, Gay Won’t Go Away By FRANK BRUNI Published: January 28, 2012 That has long been one of the rallying cries of a movement, and sometimes the gist of its argument. Across decades of widespread ostracism, followed by years of patchwork acceptance and, most recently, moments of heady triumph, gay people invoked that phrase to explain why homophobia was unwarranted and discrimination senseless. Lady Gaga even spun an anthem from it. But is it the right mantra to cling to? The best tack…
Being Gay: Is it by Choice or Genetics? Sarah Jones BCOM/275 February 11, 2013 Dr. John Christof Being Gay: Is it by Choice or Genetics? In the article I chose the author is arguing that being gay is inherited from a gene that came from the parents of that offspring. My argument is that if naturally men are attracted to women and vice versa, how can this trait already be implanted into the brain of a person who claims to be gay. The natural order of the world is to reproduce and populate…
seemed to understand that living a lie depresses, angers, and severely messes up a person. So, forcing a person to lie about whom they love or how they live can be hazardous to that person’s health. “War. Rape. Murder. Poverty. Equal rights for gays. Guess which one the Southern Baptist Convention is protesting?” This was said in The Value of Families. There are many arguments against same-sex marriage and many are coming from religious groups, but not all of them. The apostle Paul described…
