Hypothesis

Question that is being answered- “How is sleep related to our behavior”

With more/better sleeping hours, I will feel more energized, have a better appetite, and feel less stress. With less sleeping hours, I will feel drowsy, my attitude will be different, and I will feel stressed out mostly all of the time.

Abstract

This experiment centered on sleep can show us the true importance and affect that sleep has on us as individuals. Without sleep, we as humans would not survive. Although the concept of sleep and the importance of it in our lives is fairly easy to understand, the part that is forgotten is what makes it important and how much of it do we need? this experiment answered these questions, and showed me results that really opened up my eyes on sleep in when giving your body the right amount of it.

Summary

When going about the experiment, the hardest part that I knew for me was going to be following it completely. As easy as it sounds to fall asleep for 9 hours, bringing yourself to can be challenging. When your homework load is heavy, and sports are taking up most of your schedule, the importance of time management comes strongly into play. Knowing that I had specific time periods for rest lead me to complete everything beforehand so that I knew my results would be accurate, and I would eliminate the possibilities of flaws in my experiment when filling the amounted hours needed in the control week.
Overall the experiment went very well and it opened up my eyes to possibly, even though quite challenging, following the control week sleeping schedule for the next following month. I say this because of the way I felt when following it; energized, happy, less stressed than before the experiment, and even change in my appetite. The other side of the control week came the experimental week. Starting from the first day of the week I
