Operational Trainer - Houston, TX

Position Description:
Positions in this function are responsible for training within Provider and Member Services. Trainers within this group may train outside of specialty, as needed. Trainers may also be involved in the instructional design process. Primary Responsibilities:
Trainers will be responsible for meeting department and MBO goals.
Extensive work experience within own function is an asset.
Work is frequently completed without established procedures.
Candidate works well independently.
Trainers may act as a resource for others as needed.
May coordinate scheduling of training classes and coaching sessions
Ability to drive site metrics through training materials covered and subjects.
Accountable for leading training new hires, current employees, and training new subjects as needed.

Qualifications and Requirements:
High School Diploma/GED
Must be capable and willing to travel up to 25%
1+ year previous corporate training or coaching experience
Intermediate (or higher) level of proficiency with MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
Previous experience reporting training/coaching results
Previous experience with public speaking, presenting, and/or facilitating large meetings (20+ people)
Assets:
Bachelor's Degree
