There are many unknown mysteries in the world today. The mystery that seemed the most interesting is the Pyramids of Giza. They were built between 2547-2524 B.C. The pharaoh Khufu ruled Egypt at that time. It is believed that his brother, Hemienu play huge role in the building of the pyramid. His was Pharaoh Khufu’s right hand man and “overseer of all construction projects of the king”. The problem is the unanswered question of how was the pyramid built. A Greek historian Herodotus had the earliest recorded theory. He visited Egypt around 450 B.C. His believed that machines were used, what we know as cranes today. Then a Greek historian by the name of Diodorus of Sicily, 300 years later who believed “The construction was effected by mounds” meaning ramps. Many people today believe that the Egyptians could not have done this by themselves. They think that they were helped by extraterrestrials. I believe that it makes more sense if the Egyptians used both cranes and ramps. These block average a weight of 2 ½ ton. It seems to be the most logical explanation. The problem is the Egyptians would have to find a way to support the crane and support ramps because of the weight. It is puzzling especially to someone like me. I actually
