Joints Project
Part three essay In the beginning we start with Quique, he begins with an introduction to the workout/ lesson designed for 6 to 7 year olds. The first movement described is extension by extending his legs out. Abduction is next by raising his hand high trying to touch the sky staring at the sun but not too long so you don't go blind. Adduction, not to be confused being abducted, followed next with him putting his hands to his sides. Next we have circumduction involving the arms being moved around to make circular motions. Flexion and hyperextension are opposites to each other with flexion being the proper or expected movement of joints and hyperextension is the backwards movement of them. Rotation is followed next by having hoop earrings on your ears swaying your head from side to side, looking from left to right and again. Away to easily see depression in joints would be in your jaw having your jaw/mouth opened and then when closing your mouth would be elevation as you are elevating it up. Protraction and retraction are like turkeys and turtles allowing your head to be pushed forward in protraction and then brought back in retraction again closer to your body. Your hands consist of the posterior and the anterior sides of the hands. The joint movement in which you would see the posterior side would be pronation, while the movement to the anterior side would be supination.
