Everybody has a little bit of crazy in them right? The film Silver Linings Playbook is the perfect example of this statement. The movie was released in 2012 and was based on the novel The Silver Linings Playbook. The film was a blockbuster in the theaters along with winning countless Academy Awards and Golden Globe nominations. The Solitano family had many issues that were portrayed over time such as marriage problems, gambling, losing jobs, lying, mental problems, relationship problems; you name it and they had it. If it weren't for everyday common struggles among the average American family, people wouldn't know how to fight for their families or As he started to progress in treatment, he met a wonderful woman named Tiffany who would forever change his life. Tiffany had recently been widowed, due to a tragic accident that killed her husband of only three years. In addision, she is a recovering sex addict who had many problems of her own to deal with. Pat and Tiffany, who were both mentally unstable, embark on a love/hate relationship throughout the film. They basically only wanted to help each other to make personal gains and reach personal goals. Pat has an obsession that he will get back with his Nikki, his ex-wife, and that she had forgiven him for his past mistakes. He was having these delusions on a daily basis along with consistantly running through the neighborhoods searching for her. He would do anyting in his power to see her and try to get her back. “Nikki's waiting for me to get in shape and get my life back together. Then we're going to be together.” Statements like this Pat always made right to Tiffany's face and she dealt with it. So, Tiffany had finally figured out a way to get Pat to spend some more quality time with her. Pat had asked her if she would kindly deliver a typed letter to Nikki for him, he wanted her to know he was doing a lot better and that he missed and loved her. Well, turns out Tiffany will not agree to deliver the letter unless Pat joins her as her partner in a serious dance
