Well check this plan, out for size

I have an idea called the Virginia plan

This government doesn’t work, but this one can

It starts with proportional representation

This will be used to pick delegation

Each state gets delegates based on their size

A huge place shouldn’t be equal to the little guys

Ben:

Now just wait a second James, That’s unfair

You just want your state to be the biggest one out there

I believe every state should have equality

And it shouldn’t be based on quantity

It’s the New Jersey plan drop yours down the disposal

Legislative executive and judicial are the right provisions

The first branch will be split into two houses

Voted in by the people this way no body grouses

Next on the list are the other branches

They will be voted in be the legislative

Now the executive branch will be appointed by them

And they will choose the judges who will condemn

Making laws for the states

And taxing by their rates

They need those rights

Cuz if we don’t allow them that there will be more fights

Taxing us is what they need to do

But the making of laws thing, that needs to screw

But another power that should be made

Is to let them have authority over our trade
