In the scheme of life to ponder about the certainty of what is real and surreal sometimes seems to be equal to someone staring at a puppeteer as he skillfully maneuvers his lifeless creation to make gestures of realism and motions as if to have intrinsic life of its own; the individual thinks of this action as dull, boring, unrealistic, and perhaps even a waste of time. Not realizing that creating an artistic object with one’s mind and bringing it to life is an art form in itself. Thus; the individual looks with discontent and distasteful eyes at the artisan's creation without asking himself about the details and how the volume shaped objects and strings attached can create such an illusion worthy of Poe so vivid in our eyes. In contrast the puppeteer knows and understands the mechanisms involved in his fingers and exactly which string to move in order to complete his act, with each tug the master’s creation spans to life in amazement of many that at one point in their lives seemed vehement to such an art.
As children and adults alike enjoy this artistic form of bringing realism to unrealistic objects to life, weather if it’s a simple shaped duck to the intricate detailed polygons of the transformers, from the old school puppeteer to the visual animations on the screen right before the start of a movie in the theaters. The lines that create the shapes, the hues of color embedded in each character, the intricacy of the textures that give movement to lifeless forms, the ability to see one’s imagination come to life, the hard work of individuals that come together in brotherhood to meet a goal is something essential to the development of one’s personal character. The understanding of how objects move in the 3 dimensional forms is something that only science fiction used to wonder about and theorize in the old days.
