Amnesty International is a non-governmental organisation focused on achieving human rights while still respecting international law as well as respecting everyone involved. The stated objective of the organisation is "to conduct research and generate action to prevent and end grave abuses of human rights, and to demand justice for those whose rights have been violated.’’

Amnesty draws attention to human rights abuses and campaigns for compliance with international laws and standards.Amnesty tries to achieve human rights through attracting the attention of the public and getting the involved.

Amnesty has managed to take human rights from being insignificant to being the headlines internationally.

I firmly believe in Amnesty International’s principles and what they stand for. By investigating and exposing the facts whenever and abuse happens, Amnesty is taking a stand for what is right and what they believe in while still keeping a humane standard by constantly keeping their promises and respecting, acknowledging international law.

I admire Amnesty because by telling the powerful stories of the people they work with, they mobilise millions of supporters around the world to campaign for change and stand in defence of activists on the frontline.

They support people to claim their rights through education and training.

I believe their actions are justified in that they are approaching each problem with detailed research and determined campaigning, we help fight abuses of human rights worldwide. They bring torturers to justice. Change oppressive laws. And free people jailed just for voicing their
