In life we all go through ups and downs but how we overcome our rough times is what makes special moments in life so special. In my 17 years of living I had my fair share of good times and bad times. I must say that failing my state level exam in 2011 made me feel discourage, however it did teach me endurance.
When you’re a student like me that never failed a test in your whole school career, hearing that you failed a test that could prevent you from graduating is tragic news. My first reaction was to shrink down and hide my face. My face looked like I was a cartoon charter that just got embarrassed and there face started changing colors. The feeling of failure was the worst feeling I ever experience. My family had to lift me up and encourage me keep going. With me being the studious student that I am I started to prepare for the test for the 2nd time. The night before the exam I was sure to get a good night sleep and eat a health breakfast.
After a few weeks the test results came in the mail, when I saw the envelope my heart drop and I think it skip a beat. My nerves were so bad I could not open the envelope to read my own results. While my farther read the results I could see the disappointment on his face at that moment I knew failure found my way once again. Knowing that your best didn’t meet the standers is discouraging. When reality hit me I had to pick my head up and accept the failure. In order for me to secede my pride had to take control and keep going even
