Marx argues that giving people individual freedom and liberty is not inherent to a successful or happy society. One point that Marx makes is that while political freedom provided or “allowed” under the state under liberty isn't necessarily a bad thing, rather, he viewed it as a good thing. However he argued that under a liberal system, political freedom is the highest attainable state of liberty achievable, implying that true human freedom is not feasible due to it causing the individual becoming isolated from the community around them.
