Abortion is one of the most controversial and important subjects of this generation. 1 in 4 of our generation is now not living because they were killed before they were born. As said in the Brief fact sheet under “incidence of abortion” Nearly half of pregnancies among American women are unintended, and about four in 10 of these are terminated by abortion. Twenty-two percent of all pregnancies (excluding miscarriages) end in abortion. Each year, two percent of women aged 15–44 have an abortion. Half have had at least one previous abortion. At least half of American women will experience an unintended pregnancy by age 45, and, at current rates, one in 10 women will have an abortion by age 20, one in four by age 30 and three in 10 by age 45.
Abortion truly has become a huge issue in the United States. These days’ young girls are choosing to have intercourse without pertection and without pertection come a little child. Some girls will chose to keep the baby others will get an abortion. Most of the time you will hear about our younger generation having abortions.
Well if you look here there are some facts from the brief fact sheet. Eighteen percent of U.S. women obtaining abortions are teenagers; those aged 15–17 obtain 6% of all abortions, teens aged 18–19 obtain 11%, and teens younger than age 15 obtain 0.4%. Women in their 20s account for more than half of all abortions; women aged 20–24 obtain 33% of all abortions, and women aged 25–29 obtain 24%. Abortion is bad not because its killing a child but it’s also killing our generation is getting smaller and smaller you are killing kids from our generation you’re just making it smaller. We already are losing people from our generation so why make it worse. Stop abortion before it gets way to out of hand. It’s already a big deal so why not just stop it. Yes maybe many people will be upset because they don’t want to have kids right now but hey they are the ones who chose that lifestyle. They chose to have intercourse without pertection so they shouldn’t be able to complain. I understand older women who are pregnant and they might be afraid that their body’s aren’t in good shape to have kids so maybe not stop it all and let the ones who are truly in need of it. Abortion is only an act of murder of an unborn child. I don’t know why some people cannot see that. You yourself are committing murder of your own child. Abortion needs to be slowed down its killing our next generation. It has killed enough of our generation so why kill more of the next generation. Many of them could be dying right now from other causes so why make worse. Do you really want to have to think of that in the future? Yes maybe a child is too much at this age but tell me why you didn’t think of that before. Don’t kill your own child just because you don’t want them in your life. As said in the quote “Abortion and racism are both symptoms of a fundamental human error. The error is thinking that when someone stands in the way of our wants, we can justify getting that person out of our lives. Abortion and racism stem from the same poisonous root, selfishness”.
