Abortion

Abortion is the termination of a pregnancy after conception. Women can put an end to their pregnancies but it involves killing the undeveloped embryo or fetus. This is a very controversial subject in America and many other countries around the world due to the fact that some believe abortion is murder. Many argue that a fetus is not yet a person but a baby’s heart start beating at 5 weeks into pregnancy. The Abortion despute and what I believe is that the life of any human creature, in any form, has sacred value.
Unfortunately abortion is legal and has been used for the last few decades; even though it goes against several constitutional rights. The Fourteenth Amendment has a Due Process Clause. It says: " . . . nor shall any State deprive any person of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law.
Abortion also violates The Right of Freedom, Right in criminal case, right in search and arrest, rights to a fair trial, rights in civil cases, rights retained by people, states rights and civil rights. Throughout this paper we are going see how many amendments are violated every day with the case that made abortion legal; Roe v. Wade (1973) and many others.
Abortion is unconstitutional and should be illegal. To prove my point and explain why I will later on this paper explain how the First, Fourth, Fifth ,Ninth and Fourteenth Amendments are violated.

History

Early American feminists and others began to argue that women should have control over their reproductive lives, bringing such issues as birth control and abortion into the public arena for the first time.
Many started to have abortions; the public then noticed and doctors started to advertise their service to help end unwanted pregnancies. Back then they used powders, herbs and other substances to induce miscarriage, but the medical profession and the drug industry were relatively primitive and largely unregulated causing many women who had an abortion were harmed or even killed in the process.
