1. Environment How does geography impact the development and growth of civilization? This image shows the Pyrenees Mountains that divide Spain and France. These are mountain barriers that act as borders separating the two civilizations. Geography impacts these civilizations by having them separated so that other cultures do not migrate and there is no interaction between the two cultures such as trade.

Food stamps helps with providing food for families with low income. The food stamps card is used at grocery stores and the card only pays for food and the person using the food stamps card to purchase the food does not have to pay any money for the food they are purchasing. The role of government is to provide a public welfare for the people with low or no income so they get the nutrition that they need but they can not afford.

The Punjabi Culture are interested in sports, have many festivals, listen to music, dance and have many rituals. They have rituals such as birth rituals for newborns, rituals for the wedding day, and rituals for the funeral of loved ones. Their culture reflects their values showing that they value family. The birth of a newborn is exciting and brings joy to their family and they celebrate that day. Such as they also celebrate two families combining; weddings. They also celebrate the life of their loved ones such as funerals.

The first long distance trade occurred between the Mesopotamia and the Indus Valley in
Pakistan. The longdistance trade was limited to luxury goods like spices, textiles and precious metals. Human interactions such as trade make cultural diffusion happen. It wasn't long after the
Mesopotamia and the Indus Valley trade that the crisscross of trade routes began to link cultures such as cultural diffusion. This means along with the trade of goods, cultures were being passed between civilizations.
5. Social Justice/Human Rights: How are human rights defined in a civilization?
During the Industrial Revolution, children were forced to work. The children were as young as six years old and they worked up to 19 hours a day. The children were paid little to none at all and the conditions of the work environment were horrible. Human rights are defined by the child labor during the Industrial Revolution because the children had no human rights. Children were forced to work, it was not their choice. The conditions of the workplace was horrible and the children were mistreated. They also could not earn anything for their hard work.
