D- The word hallowed can be used in a positive and negative connotation. Positively you can use it by praying, or by showing your respects. Also, you could use it by worshipping your religion or trying to commit your life to someone/something. Negatively you can worship other things other than your religion without knowing just by idolizing that one thing too much and thinking about it too much, which makes you stop thinking about your religion or it leads you away from your religion. This results in the negative because you are sacred to the wrong things and would rather think about that one thing rather than what you worship.
