Re: DEPARTMENTAL STUDY TOUR TO CHANDIGARH, SHIMLA & DELHI DURING OCTOBER VACATIONS 2012
We propose to organise a study tour of about 8 days / 7 nights duration to Chandigarh, Shimla & Delhi in October 2012. The tour shall commence from Mumbai on or about Monday 22nd October 2012 and shall end on or about Monday 29th October 2012. The cost of the tour will be Rs. 13,650/- per head. The group shall travel by reserved III Tier A/c in train from Mumbai to Delhi and Delhi to Mumbai. Rest of the journey, industrial visits and sight seeing would be done by semi-luxury bus.. The group shall be accommodated in decent hotels / resorts during their stay for 02 nights at Chandigarh , 02 nights at Shimla and 01 night at Delhi. All meals would be provided i.e. breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Members of the teaching staff shall accompany the students.
The tour arrangements have been entrusted to M/S ‘THE EXPLORERS’, MUMBAI.
Kindly fill up the attached form along with the initial contribution of Rs. 3,650/- (Rs. 1000 /- out of which is non-refundable). Cheques should be drawn in favour of THE EXPLORERS. Forms should be submitted to the concerned teachers latest by Friday 20th July, 2012. Please write your name on the reverse of the Cheque in pencil for easy identification. The balance amount of Rs. 9,500/- should be paid not later than Friday 31st August 2012. The college shall contribute Rs. 500/- per student for the tour. Each member of the tour group is expected to possess an Identity Card while on tour.
Please note: In case of cancellation on or after Monday 8th October 2012 and on or before Sunday 14th October 2012, 50 % of the total tour cost would be deducted. In case of cancellations on or after Monday 15th October and on or before Sunday 21st October, 75 % of the total tour cost would be deducted. In case of cancellations on the day of departure no refund shall be admissible.
Whilst we shall extend every facility and assistance and attempt to provide comfort and safety to the students, who are willing to join the tour, we will naturally expect full co-operation from them and whilst we shall take every reasonable precaution for their health and safety, we cannot undertake any responsibility for any mishap, loss or change in itinerary due to unavoidable / unforeseen circumstances.
